Why photography show 2022?:

The photography show is back in action with this year’s edition. Covid had derailed the joy of photographers and camera companies to catch up with each other and derive the pleasure of interaction. As this year’s show lines up, here is what is new in the photography show 2022. The show is taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, London

New Products to be Debuted:

One of the key attractions of the photography show is always the new products that are to be publicly launched and are shown a glimpse. Some of the products to keep an eye on this year are:

  • Hasselblad X2D
  • Fujifilm X-H2
  • Canon EOS R10
  • Nikon Z30
  • OM SYSTEM OM-1

The Hasselblad X2D would first time be made available for the general public to get a hands-on experience. A 100MP shooter from the Swedish company is claimed to be the most stunning camera the company has ever made.

The Fujifilm X-H2 would offer 8K recording for the first time in an APS-C camera module.

Network:

Unlike music concerts where music is blasted for the major part resulting in a hindrance to building connections, where else would you find your fellow photographers if not in the photography show? The show is meant for you to meet your kin and there wouldn’t be loud music as well to impede your conversations if you click with anyone in there. (We couldn’t just miss the opportunity to use the term click in here).

Huge ass discounts on equipment:

With over 250 brand exhibits, the photography show of 2022 is your show to grab the equipment you have been eyeing for so long. While we are it, the exhibitors understand the products better than the retailers from where you might purchase the product later on. The online forums are ever so confusing as well so what’s better than getting your doubts cleared from the manufacturer of the product themselves?

Master Classes from the actual masters:

While a plethora of information is available online, truth be told it is segregated, bifurcated and at times confusing. There are also doubts about the legitimacy of the information you seek. In-person classes at the events like the Photography show 2022 win an edge with the crisp and pointed classes, relevant industry information from the photography giants alongside getting the hands-on experience of the latest photography tech. While learning is pivotal, learning it from the right mentor makes all the difference.

A lot of other surprises:

The possibilities of finding the good in a show of your passion are endless. You would feel a creative synchronous among your kin and perhaps who knows, you might end up meeting someone who may present you with the lifetime of an opportunity. The key lies in stepping outside and venturing into the unknown. One basic skill we have seen our photographers lacking is their network and connections. What events like these quintessentially do for you is to get you exposed to the other players in your field and mould the learning process in the right direction.

Do not miss out on the show and the other photography expo’s that take place in your city
