Adobe has brought good news for photographers!!! It is providing Adobe Photoshop Express and Adobe Premiere Rush in its existing photography plan for free. Both are entry-level applications. Adobe's current photography plan offers Lightroom and Photoshop along with 20GB of cloud storage, and costs 9.99 dollars per month. Recently, Adobe has sent an email to all its subscribers stating that they will be allowed to use Premiere Rush and Photoshop Express for free within the next week. Let us know about the new scheme in detail.
Adobe To Add Rush And Photoshop Express In Its Plan
Adobe Premiere Rush
Adobe Premiere Rush, which was launched as Project Rush in 2018, is a useful application for editing videos. It can be accessed from both mobile (iOS and Android) and desktop devices. You can use both versions simultaneously with the Adobe Creative Cloud account. It has a fast sharing option too. Until now, Adobe has upgraded it several times, by incorporating M1 support for Apple to it, developing editing facilities on the iOS version, improving user interface etc. It offers a vast audio and music library, motion graphics as well as audio editing tools. It doesn't hold a candle to Adobe Premiere Pro. But it lets you edit videos quickly on your phone or desktop, and the features are better than the social media video editing tools.
Adobe Photoshop Express
Adobe Photoshop Express is an easy to use mobile app (iOS, Android and Windows). You will not get enough tools in it like the Adobe Photoshop application for desktops, but it is ideal for applying instant filters or looks, making collage, and simple post-processing techniques like highlighting, shadowing, enhancing clarity, changing temperature, sharpening, dehazing, reducing noise etc. quickly from anywhere you are. You can also add layers, and work with various themes with it. In a nutshell, you get to touch up your photos before publishing them on social media quickly. Though you just cannot compare its features with Photoshop, Photoshop Express has some attributes that you will not find in the mobile version of Lightroom.
So, basically with this new scheme Adobe lets you perform the tasks that you would do previously from your mobile, and will get some video editing features too. Experts are assuming that the reason for this scheme is to let more people use these two applications which have comparatively less users now. As both these platforms have not achieved great success individually, Adobe wants to free their access to popularize them a bit. According to some though, it is a marketing strategy to attract new customers who are unaware that they can get free access to Premiere Rush and Photoshop Express even without a Creative Cloud Photography plan.
As mentioned earlier, you can avail the Creative Cloud Photography plan with 9.99 dollars per month which will provide you 20 GB cloud storage. If you want to increase it to 1 TB, you will need to buy the package worth 19.99 dollars per month. To learn further about this plan, visit the official website of Adobe.
