Photography is a profession that encompasses not one, but every sphere of life. There are different types of photography fields. From food to nature, to space, to people. Anything and everything can be photographed. “What you see is what no one else can see, but you can make them feel.”

The initial days in the field are very difficult in figuring out what to do. You would want to do anything and everything there is. But one point to notice here is that specialization takes you a long way. If photography is more than a hobby for you, you would need to pick one field to succeed as a profession.

Nature photography:

For someone who likes to be outdoors yet away from the concrete jungle, this one's for you. This field has you connected to wildlife. This may sound easy but the weather and lighting are never under your control. You will have to stroll around away from your home to get that one shot in one chance. 

A tip here to notice is to always carry your gear and backup according to the aim of your shoot. Pick one theme at one time and always plan ahead of time.

Landscape photography:

If you like the surroundings with changing time, the play of light at different locations, then this is what you should try out. When we talk about different types of photography, landscape photography is always confused as a part of some other field.

Whereas, it is a separate genre on its own. You can play and capture light, time, moments, and get through with all the tech-savvy challenges! It includes capturing vistas, dense jungles, limitless deserts, and whatever else comes to your mind when you think of landscapes.

This genre of photography allows you to shoot your shots in time-lapse and allows you to get light paintings made by the stars. A tip here is to have good control over shutter speed to capture the sights of the sky.

Clicking up flowers, details, pets, etc. this genre allows you to get up close with animals who are friendly otherwise the lion will not leave you well! You can click the paws of your dog, whiskers of your teeth, and the feather of your parrot. 

This allows you to get the details up close and you can create wonders after the post-processing of the pictures! You need to invest in a good macro lens to catch up on the fine lines of your subject.
