Tricks on how to do sky photography!

Get out of the city, away from the crowd!

A lot of unnecessary light sources are present around your city. This can hamper the horizon for your sky photography. These lights will blindsight the view you would be looking out for.

If you move towards the outskirts of the city, there are high chances you will strip away from the pollution. This will allow you to see some stars and moon otherwise unseen in the city!

Get a sturdy tripod:

Sky photography is not as easy as it sounds. Most of the time controlling the shutter speed on your phone is not easy. Apart from that, to get the right focus you need a sturdy hold.

Purchasing a small portable tripod for your sky photography venture will do the trick for you. Or you can download apps to manually or automatically control the shutter speed on your phone.

Use the right photo editing software:

There is nothing that the right photo editing software cannot fix. Your sky photography will always need some extra editing to make the celestials look better. Just pick the one you have your hands set in, and you will be good to go!

Try to avoid sharp flashlights:

The view for sky photography is going to be low. The lack of good light is a con, but the skylines are going to be worth it. However, do not use the flash to click your stars. It will fade away the natural light of the night sky. All you will be left with will be a plain black basic diminished sky photography.

HDR settings make the camera speed slower. If you keep it off, you will receive a better camera speed to work with.

Do not use steer zoom:

Small tiny stars will be the highlight of your sky photography. However, do not zoom in! If you will go view it again from a mobile screen. The zoomed-in picture would look diminished.

Zooming in your sky photography is strictly to be avoided!
